SONG ♫♪
In Spring, a male Eurasian Blackbird positions himself at the top of a tree in our Bundanoon Garden and sings well before first light and the usual dawn chorus, through the day, and into the night. A pleasant and melodious territorial display. Birds vocalise for many reasons though one wonders if some sing just for the joy of doing so.
The sound of birds stops the noise in my mind. Carly Simon
