The Gleaners
Our forests and woodlands provide rich habitats for a variety of insect-eating birds. High in the canopy, small and agile leaf-gleaners move among the foliage, picking insects from leaves and twigs. Along tree trunks and branches, larger species probe under bark and into crevices in search of hidden prey.
